Addtional Services - Acoustic Guitar
Tim Haycocks
Tim has been gigging for over a decade and in that time he has worked with many varied acts, ranging from the James Taylor Quartet to Skunk Anansie. A music student himself, he then graduated into teaching before moving on. His extensive experience is pulled from his work with multiple function bands as well as many of his own original projects, and he is currently performing new material as a solo artist. Tim has gigged all over the UK in one of his many guises and continues to excite and enthral as a vocalist, a guitarist or in his offstage role as a prolific song writer/producer.
Acoustic “Versions” Set
For the ultimate way to create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere during your event, look no further. With a comprehensive repertoire of popular and un-intrusive material spanning decades and vaulting musical boundaries, the acoustic “versions” set will envelop your guests in a feeling of warmth and musical familiarity.
Tim plays well known songs by familiar artists, in a lively yet considerate fashion. Infused with subtlety and flair (as well as the odd twist!) the sing-a-long melodies, intertwined with consummately professional acoustic guitar are sure to have you and your guests humming along and leave a lasting impression (as well as a tune or two!) firmly in your mind.
With material by artists such as Damien Rice, Crowded House, James Morrison and Paul Weller beautifully re-worked and adapted specially for a solo acoustic guitarist/vocalist, the acoustic versions set is the perfect compromise of the well known and the unexpected.
