How a Booking Works
Firstly, we need to get some information from you so we can confirm
availability and price.
If you would prefer to discuss your event over the phone then please
contact Graham on 07866 318511 or, contact us via our website.
You can listen to samples of the band on this website. However, we
always recommend that you see the act performing live. As nearly all
our gigs are private functions it’s not usually
possible to attend one of these, however, you
can come and see us rehearsing
at our rehearsal space in Reading.
Contracts
Once the finer details of the day and our fee have been
established Something Borrowed we will send you a contract letter.
The contract
letter will contain an agreed schedule outlining the day’s
events. This means that you can pre-arrange everything you require
us to do before the event, leaving your day stress-free. Signature
of the contract and payment of the deposit will constitute a confirmed
booking.
Deposit
When you return your signed contract, we will require a £600 deposit. The deposit and signed contract will constitute a confirmed booking. If a booking is cancelled it will only be possible to return the deposit if Something Borrowed can secure an alternative booking of similar value on the cancelled date.
Final payment
You will need to pay the remaining fee in cash or by cheque to Something
Borrowed on their arrival at your event.
After booking
With Something Borrowed, things don't simply
end with the contract. We strongly believe that a large part of our
job is to make sure
that we have all the information needed for everything to run
smoothly on
the day. After the contract has been signed we will liase with
you regarding any minor alteration that may need to be made.
What happens
if I cancel my booking?
If a booking is cancelled it will only be possible to return the
deposit if Something Borrowed can secure an alternative booking of
similar
value on the cancelled date.
On The Big Day
As per the agreed schedule in the contract letter we will arrive
and set up our equipment. This will include a sound
check.
